PPPoE Setup

If you intend to use your own wireless router to connect to the Internet, follow the router's instructions for setting up PPPoE.  Otherwise:

  1. Connect to the network
    • If you are supposed to connect with an Ethernet cable to the wall: Do so.
    • If you are supposed to connect wirelessly: Use the wireless software that came with your computer to connect to the strongest Cactus_Hotspot_xxx you see in the list.
    • If you are connecting with an ADSL Bridge type modem, connect it's DSL port to the wall and connect your computer to the Ethernet port on the modem.
  2. Follow the instructions to the left for your operating system.
